Last year was special. PorchLight’s 20-year Anniversary. We had such fun reminiscing and revisiting what it took to hit this milestone. Thank you for coming along for the ride.

2024 we’d like to celebrate leadership: A big part of how those two decades happened. It is my pleasure to kick off our “Follow the Leaders” initiative with our very own Janet Zamecnik, COO. I can’t even begin to tell you how her leadership has impacted PorchLight’s success. Wait a minute, yes I can!

A “No Obstacles” Leader

She’s one of PorchLight’s founders.

She’s the architect of our proprietary service and operations process – allowing PorchLight to become the first rental assistance company to offer metrics to clients and vendors.

She’s a natural teacher – a leader by example not just words.

And if all that isn’t the definition of leadership, meet the person who never sees an obstacle. NEVER. This can-do mentality catapults PorchLight into overcoming all that stands in our way.

Take COVID, for instance. Business was literally vanishing since no companies were relocating, they were “remoting.” Janet moved forward and sprung into action with training, pivoting. Never a complaint. The consummate problem-solver.

Personally, her love of faith and family shines through in every part of who she is. It anchors her amazing ability to encourage and lead to bring out the best in everyone she encounters. Here’s to Janet and many more years of leadership excellence!
