Homeless But Not Hopeless

At PorchLight, sometimes we are asked to find the impossible. Our proven track record of working with our clients until a rental is secured has made us the most trusted name in rental and destination services throughout the U.S. and Canada. Recently, we needed to think out-of- the-norm and help those in desperate need. PorchLight, again, rose to the challenge:
“PorchLight’s Rose Eyerman was awarded with an array of Shining Stars (accolades we give for a job well done). She showed incredible empathy and perseverance in trying to find a customer who purchased on PorchLight’s Plan&Pay rental options. She learned that he had applied to 30 places prior to contacting PorchLight and had been denied. Rose explained how the rental process will work and that evictions are the single hardest hurdle to overcome with landlords. He didn’t realize that was the stumbling block and he determined he needed a place to lay his head while he addressed the eviction and saved more money to provide more of a security deposit for landlords to consider him. Rose built a trusted relationship and he asked her to put together homeless shelters. Rose put together a very thorough and compassionate reply with details of all the customer’s options including shelters, requirements, and limitations plus addresses and phone numbers with information she received after she called the possible options before presenting to him. Her heart and professionalism make me so proud to be a part of this team.”
