PorchLight Rental Gives Back

As part of our core values, PorchLight Rental Service believes in caring for our customers, our team members and our community. Throughout the year, PorchLight Rental cares for others through ongoing charitable contributions and community activities. The holiday season creates a unique opportunity to share hope and to give back to our community and those around us. During the winter months, the temperatures drop and the importance of warm clothes, a hearty meal and shelter for the night is much more urgent.

This holiday season, PorchLight provided corporate financial support and its team members contributed, canned goods and other items needed to Haven of Rest Ministries. On December 18, 2014, team members of PorchLight visited Haven of Rest to drop off those donated items to the organization.

Founded in 1943, Haven of Rest Ministries is a nonprofit, non-denominational, Christian social service organization that provides food, shelter and clothing for the homeless and needy in Akron, OH and the surrounding areas.

We encourage those who are able to and reading this, to consider donating to a local charity throughout the year and especially during the Holiday Season. There are many local and global organizations that are in need throughout the year and especially during the cold winter months.
